The Shellback Club

Our exclusive mug club.

Neptune’s Brewery is named after the Roman god of the sea. The god’s name comes from several words combined to connote the marriage of heaven and earth, which might be interpreted in modern times as meaning of the best of both worlds. At Neptune’s Brewery, our motto is Drink Like God, meaning drink the best! God’s although sometimes viewed as angry and vengeful are also looked at as strong leaders and caretakers of their people. We prefer to emulate the community caretaker portion of the Roman deity and be known by our employees as a great place to work as well as being a community gathering center, where we support and enhance our local culture.

We are for the people.

Neptune's Brewery

Hey Everyone! This coming Saturday, September 12, we need hops and folks to pick them! We are going to have our 2020 Community Hop Harvest (Social Distance Style). Bring your hops, your friends hops, or just you and a friend to help pick hops from 12pm -5pm. There's beer and food in it for anyone who helps. We will also be taking donations for the McNair Mcnair Skate Park Park. Come on down, give a hand and get a sneak peak of the future Neptune's Beer Garden. We can also schedule to pick up your hops this Friday. Call 224-0271 for details. ... See MoreSee Less

Neptune's Brewery

With the cooler temperatures upon us, we have decided to re-open inside seating for our customers this coming Sunday. A mandate from the State of Montana requires all patrons to wear a mask when entering until seated.

This is our Cellarman Bruce.

Bruce wears his mask until seated.

Bruce doesn't yell at his server about the situation because he understands it's not their rule and doesn't want crappy service.

If Bruce does have any issues with this, he knows that outside seating is still available

If Bruce still has any issues, he knows that he is more than welcome to find another establishment to drink (although they have to follow the same rules that we do)

Bruce also thinks that if we do these things, hopefully we can all put this whole thing behind us and move forward with our lives.

Bruce is reasonable, be like Bruce.

Oh, and Bruce loves the groovy new double-walled Neptune's face coverings so he can stay stylish during these uncertain times.

Neptune's Brewery

Hello friends!
We would like to take a minute and share a couple updates.
1st, in order to do our best keeping our staff and community safe, we have decided to temporarily close indoor seating and serving. We have outdoor tables for you to continue to enjoy our delicious beer. Please order at the window and one of our fantastic servers will make sure you are taken care of.
2nd, there has been some confusion over positive cases at Neptune's. For clarification, the Brewery and the Taphouse and Eatery are completely separate businesses and share no employees. While our hearts go out to the crew of the Eatery, we would like to assure you that none of our tiny staff of 6 has tested positive or is experiencing any symptoms. We are doing everything we can to stay safe and open- checking temps daily, sanitizing everything all the time, as well as wearing masks per Governor Bullock's directive.
It's hot out, come have a cold one.
